The elites of Hollywood have not shown so much public opposition to a president in recent history as they have to President Donald J. Trump. Indeed, they seem to take issue with everything he says and does. However, the liberal celebrities who have been picking a fight with Trump since day one are panicking after the news he just delivered.
There’s nothing that those on the left love more than big government, so Trump’s new budget proposal, which cuts funding for failing programs in order to decrease the national debt, is a shot to the heart for nearly everyone in Hollywood.
Rather than adding to the deficit, the president’s proposal would pay for the programs America needs while cutting the ones it doesn’t.

If that all sounds terribly sensible, then you’re probably not one of the celebrities who took to Twitter to bemoan Trump’s budget proposal, which, among other items, eliminates funding for the National Endowment for the Arts and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
Yes, every morning, single mothers will wake up and thank god that their 50 cents a year for Big Bird can now go to an F-35. https://t.co/hPN12pBoWv

After all the wars are fought what remains are people, art, nature and culture. Trump can try but he cannot cut us out of the picture.

The fact of the matter is that we simply cannot continue adding to the national debt year after year without any forethought as to our country’s future. It is woefully unfair to our children and grandchildren to saddle them with trillions in debt before they’re even born.
While Donald Trump understands this more than most as a wildly successful businessman, the elites in Hollywood do not. For them, money literally grows on trees. For very little effort at all, they are paid millions. This is a far cry from average Americans, who work forty hours a week or more just to put food on the table for their families.
For an average American, trillions of dollars worth of debt is a huge problem. But, I suppose for the celebrities living in La-La Land, who eat rainbows for breakfast and poop jellybeans, it isn’t. Thankfully, Donald Trump lives in the real world and he is doing something about our astronomically high national debt. If they don’t like it, they are willing to put their money where their mouth is and keep these programs afloat with their donations. Until they are willing to do that, they should keep their hypocritical mouths shut.
